COOKING CLASS – Several individuals have shared an interest in a class for single ladies who cook for themselves. I also had a person who had an interest in making some different appetizers, which we can do at a later date. So if appetizers are your thing, watch the ENEWS for future dates and time.

So anyone that is single, divorced or widowed and you cook for yourself understands it is hard to buy and cook for one person. So call Dolly if interested. I will set a date and time in a few weeks to have a class on a Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon in our church kitchen. I will share some kitchen tips and we will make a few recipes you can make up ahead of time and freeze.

Also, please note any future classes of interest could be for children, teens or men who like to cook. Give me a call. I am open for any interest, or suggestions.

CONTACTING THE PASTOR: Pastor Joel can be reached most mornings in the church office Monday—Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Afternoons and evenings are set aside for visiting those in need, for meetings, and for other pastoral duties. Pastor Joel is also available for Pastoral Counseling by appointment. If you need to reach the pastor outside of office hours, his home phone number is (717) 318-5442, and his cell number is (717) 271-4888 . You can also email him at pastor@yorkfirst.org. By the way, HIPA laws prevent the hospital from contacting the pastor when you are admitted, so you will need to let hospital staff know that you would like the hospital to contact your pastor.
